To support advocacy and community building organizations, Apple has released two new Pride Edition Apple Watch bands.
Starting on Monday, the 2020 Pride Edition Sport Band is joined by the new Apple Watch Nike Pride Edition Sport Band. Beyond the new watch bands, Apple will have two new Pride watch faces, which the company says will be available with watchOS 6.2.5.
It isn't clear when watchOS 6.2.5 will arrive, but it has been in beta for several weeks.
Both 40mm and 44mm Pride Edition Sport Loop and Nike Pride Edition band retail for $49.00.
Apple and Nike note that sales provide support to LGBTQ organizations, including GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Gender Spectrum, The National Center for Transgender Equality, and ILGA World, which brings together more than 1,500 member organizations in more than 150 countries and regions.

Ooh, the rainbow with the watch background looks good.
heh
That Nike one is kind of nice. I'm kind of at the point where I hate all of Apple's watch faces now, so it's very frustrating that only select corporate partners (Nike, Hermes) have permission to make faces. What the hell makes them so special…
I like the Nike band. It looks nice.
It appears the Apple Watch Pride face updates will require the companion iOS iPhone update before they become operational.
