An informational screen displayed as part of the latest watchOS beta update process suggests Apple's anticipated fitness product, Apple Fitness+, will launch alongside iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2.
Apple Fitness+ is listed as one of three key upgrades in the watchOS 7.2 beta, reports MacRumors. Cardio fitness levels and braille keyboard support are also noted as tentpole features.
The report goes on to say that an early beta version of iOS 14.3 included reference to Fitness+ in the "Analytics & Improvements" section of Apple's iOS Privacy options, but that is no longer the case with the latest beta iteration.
Unveiled alongside Apple Watch Series 6 in September, Fitness+ is a subscription service that combines guided fitness videos with Apple Watch sensor data for a holistic workout experience. Apple has not announced a firm launch date, saying only that the service will debut by the end of the year.
Part of the newly renamed Fitness app, the Apple-produced videos are displayed on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and include an overlay that reports live bodily metrics synced from Apple Watch. Users can keep an eye on workout duration, distance traveled, heart rate, calories burned, and rings closed.
A recommendation engine suggests new exercises based on completed exercises, user preferences and workout type, though users can manually select from a range of workouts and choose from videos featuring different trainers, durations and music.
Fitness+ will cost $9.99 per month, or $79.99 per year, at launch and is included in the Premiere Apple One bundle. New buyers of an Apple Watch Series 3 or later are eligible for three months of service for free, while all users can trial the product for one month.

They have a guy with an artificial leg doing the exercises? Way to put me under pressure. If he can do it, well....
I bought a Series 6 about a month ago, so I'm looking forward to giving this a 90 day trial. If I can make some gains with Fitness+, it would be a lot cheaper than a gym membership, were there still a gym in business anywhere me. Just walking and closing rings alone has been huge.
