The Stainless Steel and Titanium Apple Watch bands sold by Nomad have been updated with better color-matched finishes, new magnetic clasps, and improved pins.
Nomad is an accessory maker known for its use of Horween leather and premium metals. The company sells metal watch bands similar to Apples ultra-premium Link Bracelet at a fraction of the cost, and now they're even better.
The Steel Band is an evolution of the metal link bracelet design with a new diamond-like carbon coating. The lugs and band are all now the same grade 316L stainless steel and color matched perfectly to the stainless steel Apple Watch.
A new ultra-slim clasp uses magnets to close the band around your wrist. This means the watch can be taken on and off with ease and placed flat on Apple Watch chargers without removing the band.
Nomad has adopted new "pin and tube" style pin that is common in high-end watches. Rather than need markings showing which direction a pin needs to be inserted, these pins can be inserted from either side. The pins are also much stronger and won't bend easily under pressure.
The Titanium Band has all of the same refinements found in the Steel Band like magnetic clasps, new pins, and diamond-like coating. The texture of the brushed titanium matches the titanium Apple Watch.
The Titanium Band is $249.95 and the Steel Band is $149.95 and can be ordered from Nomad's website.
