On Tuesday, Kensington released its new StudioCaddy, a recharging system that can hold and power up to four devices at the same time.
Apple users were first and foremost for Kensington in the creation of the StudioCaddy. It features a light silver metal body with gray fabric surfaces.
It is made up of two separate components — the charger and the storage. The charger has dual Qi charging pads, one flat recessed charger for AirPods, and an angled charging stand for iPhone. AirPods can be charged at up to 5W while the phone charger will support 10W for devices that can accept that speed and 7.5W on iPhones.
On the end, there is a 20W USB-C PD port and a 12W USB-A port to charge additional devices. A MacBook Pro or iPad can be docked in a separate storage tray that can be placed behind the wireless charger. This affords storage of devices as well as power.
To prevent the pieces from separating inadvertently, the storage tray magnetically connects to the rear of the wireless charger.
It is available to order now through Kensington's website for $179.99
