The Apple TV+ app has launched on Sky Q set-top boxes and Sky Glass TVs bringing Apple's subscription service to the Sky TV platform.
Apple has slowly expanded Apple TV+ to alternate platforms beyond its own set-top box. Sky TV is the latest to gain access to the subscription service with a dedicated app.
Existing subscribers need only sign into their Sky Q or Sky Glass to gain access to Apple's exclusive content. Once signed in, there are settings available to control playback resolution and parental restrictions for content.
Content can be played in 4K HDR on select Sky hardware. You'll need a Sky Q 2TB or Sky Q 1TB UHD box connected to a 4K TV. The Sky Glass TV is 4K HDR ready by default.
Apple TV+ is a subscription service available to customers for $4.99 per month. It is also included in every tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.

Very interesting. I wonder if this will pave the way for a sky app on the Apple TV. Not just the crappy NOW TV app.
