Apple's Beats by Dre subsidiary is commemorating the 75th anniversary of the National Basketball Association with a limited edition pair of Powerbeats Pro.
The NBA Powerbeats Pro are made in collaboration with Canadian brand Better — a company that describes itself as a "gift shop to a fictional museum. They feature red and blue ear tips, a white design, and the NBA logo emblazoned on the sides.
"The latest collaboration between Beats and the NBA brings a mix of nostalgia and everlasting quality with Canadian-based brand and retailer Better Gift Shop to create a special edition set of Powerbeats Pro," Beats wrote of the special headphones.
Beats first launched Powerbeats Pro back in 2019. The wireless Bluetooth headphones feature a fitness-focused design and an Apple H1 chip. Although an aging accessory, Powerbeats Pro still feature good audio quality and AirPods-like ease-of-use features with Apple's ecosystem.
Apple's Beats brand is the official headphone partner for the NBA. Beats and the NBA signed a multi-year deal back in 2018, with the two entities collaborating on NBA team-branded headphones and other projects.
Customers can order the NBA x Better Powerbeats Pro starting at 9 a.m. Pacific (12 p.m. Eastern) on Saturday, Feb. 19 on the Beats website. They will retail for $249.

I wonder if they fixed the charging issues with that design….
These would be way cooler if the NBA logo was on both sides.
