Apple has released the fourth Studio Display firmware beta for version 16.4.
The beta cycle for iOS 16.4 and macOS Ventura 13.3 is on its fourth release. Users with the beta installed on a Mac connected to the Studio Display will get prompted to install the monitor's fourth beta for version 16.4.
Apple released the first beta firmware update for the monitor on February 18, and the second beta on March 2. Beta three arrived on March 9.
The new build is 20E52139b, up from 20E5229e.
Studio Display owners who are beta users can update their firmware by heading to System Settings on their Mac. Navigate to General, then Software Update to see if the beta is available.
It's unclear what Apple has included in the updated firmware, but it could contain bug fixes, security patches, or improvements to performance.
