The third beta of macOS Ventura 13.4 for developers has been released by Apple as part of its ongoing beta cycle for hardware.
Developers who have registered for the beta program can select the most recent builds by visiting the Apple Developer Center or updating Macs that are currently running beta software. Public beta versions, which frequently arrive shortly after developer releases, are accessible through the Apple Beta Software Program.
The third beta for macOS Ventura 13.4 follows the second release Apple pushed out on April 11.
The third Ventura 13.4 beta build number is 22F5049e up from 22F5037d. It is yet unclear what is new in this beta generation, but when more testers become aware of any changes, more details will become public.
Apple included rich text previews for Mastodon in Messages and modifications to the HomeKit architecture in macOS Ventura 13.3.
Alongside the Ventura beta, Apple also released macOS Monterey 12.6.6 and macOS Big Sur 11.7.7 betas as well.
AppleInsider and Apple strongly suggest users don't install beta operating systems or other beta software on "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the small chance of issues that could result in the loss of data. Testers should instead use thirdary or non-essential hardware and ensure they have sufficient backups of their critical data at all times.
