Apple Arcade adds new games, including a Sega classic

New games coming to Apple Arcade in August

Sega's "Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go" is launching soon on Apple Arcade, alongside new puzzle games, and extra content for titles including "Crossy Road Castle."

Just days after announcing that Hello Kitty Island Adventure is launching on Apple Arcade, Apple has revealed four more titles coming soon — plus exclusive events and extra content.

"Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go is coming soon to Apple Arcade with exciting new songs and a series first Story Mode only found on the service," Ian Curran, president and chief operating officer of SEGA of America, said in a statement. "Apple Arcade has been a great home to many of our hit franchises, including Sonic, Football Manager, and now Samba de Amigo."

"It's given us an opportunity to focus on creating the best games for a whole new audience of mobile players," continued Curran, "and we're looking forward to seeing fans of the series and newcomers enjoy this modern take on one of our classic games."

Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go is launching on Apple Arcade on August 29, 2023, and will include over 40 hit songs plus three that are exclusive to the Apple edition of the game.

Before that on August 8, 2023, Apple Arcade is adding the "adorable cat puzzle game," Nekograms+ (Hungry Sky). On August 18, 2023, Cherrypick Games will release Kingdoms: Merge & Build on Apple Arcade, while on August 25, 2023, Seabaa launches a minimalist puzzle called finity.

Alongside the new titles, Apple Arcade says that there will be new content in a slew of titles including Crossy Road Castle, Jetpack Joyride 2, and recently released games such as Cityscapes: Sim Builder.

From August 4, 2023, to August 31, Apple Arcade's Crayola Create and Play+ is also hosting an exclusive Back to School Style Squad event in conjunction with Hasbro's My Little Pony, PJ Masks, and Tonka.

SEGA still makes games? Wow. Don't see their name much in Australia any more.
