Apple has shared the first trailer for "The Pigeon Tunnel," which is set to debut on Apple TV+ on October 20, and will delve into the history of the famed writer and former spy John le Carre.
The film details six decades of the life of former British spy David Cornwell, better known as John le Carre. Cornwell also wrote espionage novels, including "The Spy Who Came In from the Cold" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy."
Apple has noted that this will be le Carre's final and most candid interview.
The trailer, a bit over a minute and a half long, gives viewers a sneak peek into the documentary. "The Pigeon Tunnel" features rare archival footage, dramatized vignettes, and an original score by Philip Glass collaborating with Paul Leonard-Morgan.
"The Pigeon Tunnel" joins other Apple TV+ documentaries including "Earth at Night In Color," "Real Madrid," and "The Line."
