The third developer beta of watchOS 10.2 is now available to download as Apple's test schedule rolls on.
Developers who are taking part in the beta program can pick up the latest builds via the Apple Developer Center or by updating devices already running on the beta software. Public beta versions are generally offered shortly after the developer releases, via the Apple Beta Software Program.
The third developer beta for watchOS 10.2 arrives after the second beta, which landed on November 9, while the first became available on October 26.
The third build of watchOS 10.2 is number 21S5349e, replacing the second, 21S5342e.
The watchOS 10.2 beta build lets users ask Siri Health requests that are handled entirely on-device for select Apple Watch models, specifically the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
AppleInsider and Apple strongly suggest users don't install beta operating systems or other beta software on "mission-critical" or primary devices, as there is the small chance of issues that could result in the loss of data. Testers should instead use secondary or non-essential hardware and ensure they have sufficient backups of their critical data at all times.
