Apple has announced its top apps for iPhone and iPad, as well as its top Apple Arcade games for 2023, with titles like Minecraft, Procreate, Roblox, and Temu taking top spots.
On Tuesday, Apple took a moment to recognize the year's most popular apps and games. The list covers the top free and paid apps and games, as well as the top Apple Arcade games in the U.S.
Unsurprisingly, social media filled out most of the free iPhone apps category, with Threads, TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp Messenger all prominently featured.
Popular games like Roblox, Gardenscapes, and Subway Surfers appeared on both the iPhone and iPad free games list. Minecraft remained the most popular paid game for both the iPad and the iPhone.
The iPad continues to cement itself as a tool for creatives, as Procreate, Nomad Sculpt, forScore, and ToonSquid are all featured in the top paid iPad apps list.

How many years in a row is that for Minecraft as top paid game? Incredible achievement.
Looking at the top free iPhone apps from 4 to 10, do the people in this forum still believe that "Privacy" is a feature that is being actively used by the majority of the iPhone users? For those users who do value and use the Privacy feature, iPhone is the only option and there is simply no alterative option available to them.
Those who don't value their privacy (and looking at the top app usage, it seems to be a huge percentage of iPhone users fall into this category) - Wouldn't those users be better off financially by buying an Android phone at a much lower cost if they are NOT going to use the most-important differentiating feature from the other OS (except probably the niche users playing high-end games in their iphones)?
