I heard CBS is going to use HDR (high dynamic range) video and if you have Paramount plus, it will be available in 1080p HDR and possibly 4k HDR. I’m a bit puzzled on who can get the 4k version but should be interesting. In this case, Over the air broadcast TV in the US using ATSC 1.0 only supports SDR (standard dynamic range) video. The emerging ATSC 3.0 can do 4k HDR i believe. If you have a TV less than 3 years old, there is good chance it has HDR ability.
