Apple Watch redesign rumors are on-again off-again, the iOS 16 beta keeps improving, and while the Apple Ring isn't even out yet, Samsung is still not looking very original this week, all on the AppleInsider Podcast.
It's possible that this is one of only a few places where you'll hear Samsung's latest event discussed — since even its new Smart Ring didn't seem all that interesting. Host William Gallagher says that the only apparent development in Samsung's phones is that "they upgraded the price."
But Samsung isn't just having a poor year, it seems that Apple's largest smartphone rival simply isn't innovating any more. And Wes Hilliard thinks that's extremely bad news for Apple, and for us.
Although while Samsung may be at a standstill, if rumors are to be believed, the Apple is pressing ahead with new camera plans for the iPhone. But then if rumors are to believed, this year will see a massive anniversary redesign of the Apple Watch — or it won't.
