Google's new Pixel 10 lineup has arrived, with a trio of flagships joined by a new foldable, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold weeks before Apple's iPhone 17 launches.

Wednesday's Made by Google event saw the launch of the search giant's latest flagship smartphone range. Titled the Pixel 10, the collection boasts fast processing and AI assistance, as well as another foldable model.

The non-foldable Pixel 10 is a 6.3-inch smartphone powered by the Google Tensor G5 and Titan M2 security coprocessor. Equipped with 12GB of memory, it has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 4,970mAh battery with Qi2 wireless charging.

On the back is the camera bar with a 48MP wide Quad PD camera along with a 13MP ultrawide Quad PD version and a Dual PD 10.8MP telephoto sensor. The front houses a 10.5MP Dual PD selfie camera.

Accompanying it are the Pro models, with the Pixel 10 Pro sporting a 6.3-inch LPTPO screen while the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch version. Using the same Tensor G5 chip, they have 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage.

The cameras are also better on the Pro models, consisting of 50MP wide, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto shooters, with a maximum Pro Res Zoom of up to 100x. At the front of the Pro versions is a 42MP Dual PD camera.

The Tensor G5 in all of the models is said to be the fastest yet, powering features like Magic Cue to preemptively offer information to the user, depending on the context of other actions. The Camera Coach helps users improve the composition of photographs as tey are being taken, including teaching foundational concepts to beginners.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold

A rival to the still far-off iPhone Fold, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is billed as the company's most durable foldable so far, using a gear-less hinge and aerospace-grade aluminum. Inside is the also more durable Super Actua Flex display, measured at eight inches, which is claimed to be able to survive over ten years of folding.

On the outside of the Pixel Pro 10 Fold is a 6.4-inch display. Both foldable and external displays now go up to 3,000 nits of brightness, while the battery performance has been boosted to beyond 30 hours.

The Tensor G5 chip makes its appearance here as well, handling a plethora of Gemini AI features, and is paired with 16GB of memory and the Titan M2 security coprocessor.

The triple rear cameras are made up by the 48MP wide camera, 10.5MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP telephoto with a 20x Super Zoom. The front and inner cameras have 10MP Dual PD sensors.

While Google included camera features like Made You Look, Dual Screen Preview, and Tabletop Mode previously, the new version has Instant View. After taking photographs, you are given an instant preview of what you just shot, using that larger display.
