Yet more evidence of Apple launching a crossbody strap for the iPhone 17 has surfaced with a generally reliable leaker showing off images.

The first claims of a crossbody strap for the iPhone 17 in late August 2025 simply looked fake, with no indication of how such a strap could either attach to an iPhone, or support its weight. Then in early September, it started to look more likely just from the number of rumors, as well as a diagram of one.

Now leaker Sonny Dickson has shown off two images of the strap. One is of the full length strap, and the other is of its ends, although there's still no proof of how it will connect.

It's possible that the strap could be part of an as-yet unknown Apple case that features mounting holes. But Dickson doesn't mention this, or previous rumors that the strap will be magnetic all along its length.

Note that Sonny Dickson has an excellent track record, including in April 2024 when he leaked mockups of the iPhone 16 range lineup that correctly revealed the screen sizes of the four models months ahead of their debut.

If the crossbody strap is genuine, it will presumably be featured in the "Awe Dropping" event on September 9. Or perhaps just make an unheralded appearance in Apple Stores shortly.
