Adobe brings Premiere to iPhone, offering mobile-first editing with free pro-level tools plus paid AI features — and it's available to download now.
Launched on Tuesday, Adobe Premiere on iPhone boasts a mobile-first approach with tools adapted from the desktop version. Users can trim, layer, and fine-tune edits with frame precision.
The app supports 4K HDR, unlimited tracks, and automatic captions. Stylized subtitles are also available, designed for quick and efficient mobile editing.
Projects can begin on iPhone and be exported directly to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram. Files can also be sent to Premiere Pro.
Automatic resizing adapts videos for multiple platforms. The feature ensures the subject stays centered, making cross-platform sharing more efficient.
Premiere on iPhone also integrates with Adobe Firefly. Users can create stickers, images, or video assets using licensed and responsibly trained models.
A built-in studio offers voice effects and improved voiceover recording. An Enhance Speech feature further improves clarity by removing background noise from audio.
The app is free to use with no ads and can be downloaded now. Adobe notes that some features, including certain storage and the generative AI highlight feature, will require additional payment.
While targeted toward iPhone users, the app is also available for iPad.
Users will need a device running iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later. It can also be used on the Apple Vision Pro, requiring visionOS 1.0 or later.
