The Beats Powerbeats Fit are an upgrade to the Beats Fit Pro that includes ANC and a more comfortable and secure fit, making it ideal for fitness enthusiasts.

The Beats Fit Pro were released in November 2021 as a more fitness-focused version of the AirPods Pro. Now, the Powerbeats Fit are a revision that follows a similar approach.

The main aim of Beats Powerbeats Fit is to let people work out without fear of losing their personal audio accessories. As part of that, Beats has refined its wingtips to stay tucked inside the ear all-day.

As well as the design, the Powerbeats Fit also sports an IPX4 rating so it will survive sweat and water. Beats also includes four ear tip sizes with the Powerbeats Fit, to ensure a snug fit for a variety of ear shapes.

This will give consumers an alternative to the Powerbeats Pro 2, which uses an over-ear hook design to keep it in place during intensive activity.

Small but smart

Using the H1 chip once again, the Powerbeats Fit provides active noise cancellation, complete with Transparency mode. Adaptive EQ can tailor the sound based on the fit and seal of each earbuds.

It uses a custom acoustic platform and proprietary drivers for what Beats says is a balanced sound. Personalized Spatial Audio support is also included, including dynamic head tracking.

The Apple ecosystem support extends to include FaceTime with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, hands-free Hey Siri activation, automatic switching between devices Audio Sharing, Find My, and other features.

As usual for Beats, there is Android support via the Beats app, providing one-touch pairing, customizable controls, battery status, Locate My Beats, and a fit test.

Dual beamforming microphones are used for capturing the user's voice. An internal processor is also used to reduce external noise, like wind, for clearer audio.

While the larger Powerbeats Pro 2 have heart rate monitoring sensors, they are not included in the smaller Powerbeats Fit.

When it comes to power, the Powerbeats Fit can last for seven hours from a single charge, and a total of up to 30 hours with the charging case. Fast Fuel charging allows it to get enough power for an hour of playback from a five-minute charge.
