Apple TV's International Emmy award-winning spy series "Tehran" is heading back to the small screen in early 2026, and it won't be for the last time.
On Thursday, Apple TV announced a premiere date for "Tehran," an Israeli espionage thriller. The series will be returning on January 9, with new episodes every Friday through February 27.
The company also disclosed that it renewed "Tehran" for a fourth season. The upcoming season is already in production.
"Tehran" follows a Mossad hacker-agent, Tamar, who infiltrates Iran's capital city under a false identity. The third season follows her as she reinvents herself in an attempt to win back the Mossad's support.
In the third season, Hugh Laurie, best known for his role as the titular character on "House" joins the cast. The second season saw the addition of Glenn Close.
"Tehran" has received generally positive ratings from critics and viewers alike. AppleInsider reviewed it after its debut in 2020, calling it a first-rate Israeli spy series.
The series took home an International Emmy for Best Drama Series for its first season.
