After 25 years at Apple, former COO Jeff Williams may be taking his next role at the Magic Kingdom.

Jeff Williams spent more than 25 years at Apple, with 15 of them as the company's chief operating officer. It wasn't until July 2025 that he retired, with Sabih Khan taking over the role officially in November.

His Apple chapter may be closed, but Williams isn't exactly putting his feet up. Instead, he now looks to be courting a board seat with The Mouse.

As Deadline reports, he's been nominated for a position on Disney's board of directors. If elected, he'll expand the 10-seat governing body to 11.

Still, Williams isn't on board — or on the board — yet.

Shareholders will vote on his nomination, along with the reelection of the other 10 directors, at Disney's 2026 spring shareholder meeting. As of now, no date has been set.

While he may have stepped down from his role at Apple in July 2025, Williams remained part of the company until November to ensure a smooth transition. In October, he passed his other responsibilities in Health, Fitness, and watchOS to Craig Federighi and Eddy Cue.
