At CES 2026, Eve Systems is expanding its Matter portfolio with its new smart thermostat that sports a clean design, Apple Home support, and automatic adjustments.
This new smart thermostat follows the launch of a similar thermostat from Eve for the European market that was announced at the end of 2025. It's a rounded, white square with a simple display that shows the temperature and eco status.
Touch controls are located at the top and bottom of the display for easy manual adjustment. With Matter-over-Thread, users can control it remotely, set a schedule, and automate it based on location.
"We are proud to introduce a thermostat that not only sets a new standard for comfort and ease of use but also respects user privacy and avoids unnecessary fees," says Benjamin Wilms, Product Line Leader Home Automation at ABB. "With Eve Thermostat, homeowners enjoy effortless climate control that is intelligent, private, and subscription-free."
Apple's elusive Adaptive Temperature feature isn't listed as being supported, though Eve provided a statement when we inquired about it on the EU model. "We plan to share more about the full range of features supported by Eve Thermostat (EU) for each Matter platform when the product is released," it told AppleInsider.
It is officially hitting store shelves in Q1 of 2026 for $129.99 at Apple, Amazon, and Eve's website.
