Analyst Jeff Pu has provided a short spec sheet for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Fold due in September, which corroborates several previous rumors.

Rumors are beginning to solidify around Apple's fall iPhone launch, which may only feature three premium models. While Jeff Pu's data can sometimes be accurate, his assumptions and timelines tend to be too aggressive.

The analyst has released a new note, which was detailed by 9to5Mac. The report itself isn't of much consequence, as it's the usual prediction of how Apple might perform in 2026, but it does include a spec table for the upcoming iPhone models.

Pu notes that he's expecting Apple to gain market share in a slipping smartphone market, which is expected to decline about 4%. That's due to an expected 2% iPhone shipment growth to an estimated 250 million units, which would bring Apple's market share up to 21%.

Here's the fall 2026 iPhone spec chart that was provided in the report.

There's not much of anything surprising here. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max should resemble the iPhone 17 Pro models. The chipset upgrades will likely be the focus in these models.

The iPhone Fold has been rumored for so long in so many forms, it's tough to determine exactly what shape the final release version will take. Pu's note suggests it will be a book foldable with an external display and Touch ID.

Apple tends to finalize what the fall device lineup will be early in the year, so if an iPhone Fold is truly going to launch, confirmation via the supply chain could occur at any time. Supply chain rumors will also help determine if Apple is actually shifting to a twice-annual release cycle, with pro devices in the fall and budget in the spring.

We're rating this a possible, as the rumor doesn't provide anything outlandish or particularly new to the cycle. It's rather safe, especially for Pu, given his often-wrong history.
