Apple is currently hosting an international Apple Experience for the launch of the MacBook Neo, but preorders have started for the hardware and accessories already announced this week.
Apple has spent the week launching new displays, plus the iPhone 17e, iPads, and both the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. But all of those went on the store without fanfare, while now Apple has taken the whole store down.
Normally Apple does this ahead of a launch event, but the Apple Experience is a much smaller briefing of selected individuals. It's not being live-streamed the way most events are.
While there will surely be a press release about the MacBook Neo, it has yet to be published.
However, in this case the new launch of the MacBook Neo coincides with the opening of pre-orders for all of the devices announced on Monday March 2, 2026, and Tuesday, March 3.
In an unusual move, Apple announced that those pre-orders would begin at 6:15 A.M. Pacific Time. Normally the pre-order time would be at 6:00 A.M.
