Apple has made its newly refurbished business tools available for download, giving businesses ways to manage company devices, employees, and more.
In late March, Apple announced that it would be releasing a consolidated version of its business tools. Formerly spread across three apps, the Apple Business platform aims to provide helpful tools to businesses of any size.
As promised, Apple has released Apple Business to the App Store on April 14. To download, you'll need a Mac with macOS 12.0 or later, or an iPhone or iPad with at least iOS 15 or iPadOS 15, respectively.
The tools within Apple Business are free, and are available in more than 200 countries and regions.
This includes mobile device management (MDM), complete with Blueprints to set up devices with preconfigured settings and apps. An administrative AP allows automatic app distribution and zero-touch deployment.
It also consolidates communication and collaboration tools. It features fully integrated email, calendar, and directory services for its users.
Brand features from Apple Business Connect are also migrating over. Companies can create brand profiles and customize place cards with useful information that appears across Apple Services.
Apple Business users have the option to buy upgraded iCloud and support with AppleCare+ for Business. AppleCare+ for business is available starting at $6.99 per month per device, or $13.99 per month per user, and covers three devices.
Apple has also announced that it will allow businesses to create advertising campaigns for Apple Maps starting in Summer 2026. As we've learned in the iOS 26.5 beta, Apple Maps will show users "local ads based on your approximate location, current search terms, or view of the map while you search."
