WaterField's new Hip Sling bags can fit an iPad mini or iPad Pro

Last updated

San Francisco-based bag maker WaterField has announced a line of hybrid Hip Sling bags capable of carrying up to an 11-inch iPad Pro.

The unisex bags are designed to eliminate the need for large bags or overfilling your pockets when leaving the house. They feature a water-repellant lining, moisture-wicking padding on the back, waterproof zippers, and a key fob.

Hip Sling bags come in three sizes. The compact bag is large enough to fit an iPad mini along with space for your phone, keys, sunglasses, wallet, and a few other odds and ends. The full-size hip sling bag is large enough to fit an 11-inch iPad Pro, along with all your essentials. A mini bag is also available, though it doesn't fit a tablet.

They also feature two different strap lengths. The long strap measures from 25 inches up to 57 inches, and is designed to allow the wearer to use the bag as a cross-body sling bag. The short strap, which can be adjusted from 25 inches up to 46 inches, is designed to be worn as a hip bag.

The bags are available in several colors, including chocolate, blue, crimson, black, and a brown waxed canvas. The compact version is available for $169, while the full-sized version is available for $179. The significantly smaller mini bag is available for $89.

Those interested can head to Waterfield's website, where they can preorder a Hip Sling bag, with bags shipping out in early June.
