Catalyst has unveiled a line of protective waterproof cases for the iPhone 14 series, AirPods Pro, Apple Watch Series 8, and the new Apple Watch SE.
The company is also moving towards sustainability with these new products, using packaging made of 100% responsibly sourced paper products that can be 100% recycled.
The Waterproof and Total Protection cases are compatible with both generations of AirPods Pro. The Active Defense and Total Protection cases for Apple Watch Series 7 are compatible with the new Apple Watch Series 8 models.
Cases for the Apple Watch SE 2020 and Apple Watch Series 4 through Series 6 are compatible with the Apple Watch SE 2022 design.
Total Protection Case for iPhone 14 series
The Total Protection Case seals out water, dust, and dirt, and it's cleanable with many EPA-approved disinfectants. It's rated at IP68 and can handle depths of up to 330 feet underwater.
The case also has a MIL-STD-810G rating to survive drops of up to 6.6 feet. To help prevent falls, it comes with a lanyard that uses an anti-drop attachment system.
It has a built-in screen protector, and the case has been optimized for noise cancellation so that the microphone works without interference from background noise.
Total Protection Case for AirPods Pro 2
Like the iPhone, the Total Protection Case for AirPods is also rated at IP68 and MIL-STD-810G. As a result, it can withstand cleaning from many soaps, shampoos, and conditioners.
The impact-absorbing silicone interior keeps the charging case securely in place, protecting it from bumps and scratches. The battery indicator of the charging case can be seen through a "porthole" in the outer shell and can be charged wirelessly.
The case comes with a detachable premium carabiner that can hook onto a belt, bag, or purse.
Catalyst says the case won't affect the sound transmitted by the AirPods Pro case when the Find My detection feature is used.
Waterproof Cases for AirPods Pro 2
Other cases for the AirPods Pro include Waterproof and Premium Edition. They feature a one-piece foldable design that wraps the charging case when folded up to protect the AirPods during drops.
The waterproof sealing ribs of the Catalyst Waterproof Case have an IP67 waterproof rating of up to 3.3 feet and prevents water, dust, and dirt from entering the case. The waterproof plug at the base of the case also seals moisture from the charging port.
Total Protection Case for Apple Watch Series 8
This case features a design that wraps around the device to secure it. It includes a flexible soft hypoallergenic, and breathable silicone sport band, which will stay fully secured on impact.
The case can be paired with Catalyst's Screen Protector for Apple Watch for extra protection against scratches to the screen.
The Total Protection Case is rated at IP68 and can withstand soaps, shampoos, conditioners, bumps, and impacts that could affect the device's water-resistant seals and acoustic membranes.
A raised bezel around the screen, a covered rotating digital crown, and buttons help to protect the device. The case is made with rugged, shock-resistant, and scratch-proof material designed to survive drops of up to 6.6 feet with the MIL-STD-810G rating.
Active Defense Cases for Apple Watch Series 8 and SE 2022
Like the Total Protection Case, the Active Defense Case can be paired with Catalyst's Screen Protector for Apple Watch for extra protection against scratches to the screen.
The Active Defense cases are designed to survive drops and feature a raised bezel around the screen to protect the watch from getting beat up, withstanding bumps, dings, and scratches.
