OtterBox is taking on PopSockets with an innovative new case with a built-in grip that retains support for MagSafe.
The new OtterGrip case debuted at CES 2023 and is a modified version of the popular OtterBox Symmetry line.
What makes it unique is that the back of the case has a grip that sits fully flush when not in use but pulls out to provide extra hold on your phone. In addition, the grip can rotate 360 degrees to allow you to hold at any angle.
Since it can sit flush with the case, MagSafe accessories like OtterBox's new Post Up stand will continue to work. Likewise, chargers, battery packs, and more will continue to work without the need to remove the grip or case.
The case is made from 50 percent recycled materials and has a soft-touch finish for added grip and comfortable hold. It also touts three times the military spec drop test standard.
OtterBox's new OtterGrip cases will be available in February for $59.99 and fit all iPhone 14 models, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 12/iPhone 12 Pro.

Indeed, I’ve been using the Defender for several generations of iPhones, because of their ruggedness but also because there is a holster…
… so hoping Otterbox will have this new design with a holster option.
No support for the mini?
