Apple's first spatial computing device, the Apple Vision Pro, is on track for release early next year, according to Tim Cook.
While the September "Wonderlust" event focused on new Apple Watch and iPhone 15 models, Cook prefaced the announcements with brief updates on what's been announced and introduced since WWDC in June.
Vision Pro is "on track to ship in early 2024," Cook acknowledged.
Since introducing the new platform in June, Apple has rolled out several developer betas of visionOS, the operating system that powers the spatial computing device. The company has also begun seeding [developer kits] to registered developers working on visionOS products.
Apple revealed in early September that visionOS will include the App Store. By default, Apple says that iPhone and iPad apps will be published automatically to the App Store on Apple Vision Pro.
