On this week's episode of the HomeKit Insider podcast, we talk about more newly-released products, some nice upcoming software updates, and go hands on with a new Find My-enabled wallet.
With iOS 17.1 out the door, we're into the next beta phase of Apple's software. With the new updates, we have a few small, but notable changes to walk through.
On iOS 17.2, we have new toggles for the Home app. These will allow you to trigger recordings for unknown people, and not strong all people when they show up at your house.
Then on tvOS 17.2, Apple has redesigned the TV app. There is now a new sidebar that appears that allows you to quickly jump between your various streaming apps.
In other news, Orvibo announced an update that brings Matter to its smart dimmer switch, Belkin launched a new 2-in-1 MagSafe charger, and Onvis released a new security contact sensor.
We went hands on with a couple interesting devices this week. We checked out the AirTag-equipped Armonica wallet from Bezzo and a 3D printed case for your Mac mini.
