Apple TV+ has ordered a new original drama series from "See" showrunner Jonathan Tropper as part of their ongoing first-look deal.
"Your Friends and Neighbors" will feature Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm ("The Morning Show," "Fargo," "Mad Men"), who will also executive produce.
Hamm stars as Coop, a hedge fund manager who has recently gone through a divorce and has been fired from his job. In order to maintain his family's lifestyle, he resorts to stealing from wealthy residents in his small suburb in upstate New York. These petty crimes rekindle his spirit until he mistakenly breaks into the wrong house at the wrong time.
"Your Friends and Neighbors" marks the newest collaboration between Hamm and Apple TV+. Notably, it will be his first time anchoring an ongoing series since "Mad Men." Previously, Hamm starred in the third season of Apple TV+'s own "The Morning Show," which won multiple awards such as Emmy, SAG, and Critics Choice Awards.
The series is based on an original idea by screenwriter, producer, and novelist Jonathan Tropper, who previously worked on the Apple TV+ series "See."
In 2022, Apple signed an exclusive three-year first-look deal with Tropper.
