Apple gamers can get ready to hit the streets of Baghdad in "Assassin's Creed Mirage," as the Ubisoft title will be available on select iPhone and iPad models this June.
While we've known it was coming for some time, we've finally gotten a release date for Assassin's Creed Mirage — June 10, at least according to the App Store.
Mirage marks a significant return to the series roots, shifting its focus back to physical gameplay and toning down the role-playing elements that have been more prevalent in recent series entries.
Players will need a compatible device to play Assassin's Creed Mirage. If you want to play on an iPhone, you'll need a device running iOS 17.0 with the A17 Pro chip. At the time of publishing, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be able to run the game.
Regarding iPads, players will need an iPad running iPadOS 17.0 or later and the M1 chip or later. The list includes the third-generation iPad Pro or later or the fifth-generation iPad Air or later. There does not seem to be a plan to bring the game to Mac.
Mirage was initially released for the PS4, PS5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in October.
Apple has been working with game developers and publishers to bring AAA titles to Apple devices. In January, Death Stranding: Directors Cut made its way to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
In December, Resident Evil 4 was released for Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
