Apple resellers, including Amazon, Best Buy and B&H, have dropped the M2 MacBook Air 13-inch to $849, matching the previous record low price seen in March for the standard model that features an 8-core GPU, 8GB of memory, and 256GB of storage.

This particular configuration is geared toward the budget-conscious user that would like to enter the Apple ecosystem or add a secondary ultraportable laptop to their existing setup.
