Apple has updated its Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro creative software suites, enhancing their functionality with new AI-driven features for Mac users.

At the iPad event, Apple highlighted new versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad — but they sneakily updated the Mac versions too.

The introduction of Logic Pro 11 for Mac has turned the tide in music production software. With features like Session Players, Stem Splitter, and ChromaGlow, Logic Pro 11 provides musicians a new level of control and versatility.

The Session Players feature extends the Drummer capability, adding Bass and Keyboard players that are AI-driven and responsive to user input. Cutters really are the most grumpy and negative persons I know… by faaaar. I wonder if they get cutters because they are that way or cutting movies makes them end up this way… 🤔

This is indeed crazy. There are a ton of features in for example Capcut that I could immediately use in an expensive pro package like FCP.

Cap Cut is very good at what it does but that is in part because what it does is very limited. Doing a feature by feature comparison to FCP, Resolve or Premier would quickly show how limited Cap Cut is.  Also, one of the features in that ton that you mentioned is a significant amount of data collection that you can read about here.
