Players control Ethan Winters as he attempts to locate his missing wife in bayou Louisiana. The title is notable for being the first Resident Evil title to utilize a first-person perspective.
The game will hit the App Store on July 2, and is compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro, and all Mac and iPad models with the M1 chip or later.

Apple heavily promoted the Resident Evil series for the iPhone 15 Pro and its A17 Pro processor. The chipset enables high-fidelity graphics with hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
In December, Resident Evil 4 made its debut on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, and Mac. Before that, Resident Evil Village arrived on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPad in October.
According to the Resident Evil X account, Resident Evil 2 is also in development for iPad, iPhone, and Mac.
