So far Apple has celebrated its 50th year with one-off events in the US, China, and South Korea, but France is having four — all as Today at Apple special events.

Following South Korea's lead with K-Pop band Cortis performing and talking at a special Today at Apple session, Apple France has announced four new events. All four are to be held at the Apple Store on Paris's Champs-Elysees, over March 25, 2026, and March 26.

There are two evening events, starting at 6:00 PM local time on Wednesday, March 25, with So Me, a graphic artist being interviewed by music journalist Naomi Clement. Apple says, in translation, that the designer will "present some of his emblematic projects and explain his transversal approach to music and visual arts."

Then on Thursday evening, Clement will also interview producer and musician Boombass. He'll speak about French Touch, also known as French House, the 1990s style of electronic dance music.

Afternoon sessions

There are also afternoon sessions at 3:00 PM local time on both days. On Wednesday, March 25, producer and DJ Myd will talk about his process and demonstrating GarageBand. That's again on the subject of French Touch.

Then on Thursday, the afternoon session revolves around the fictional radio station SOPORI FM. It's really an electronic music album — available now on Apple Music, meant to be a soothing experience.

For this special Today at Apple session, its creator TRENTE will be accompanied by artist Pi Ja Ma creating visual stories on iPad.

Each of the sessions lasts an hour. Unusually, the local Today at Apple calendar is currently showing no sessions at all, but people can register their interest through one of the event pages.

Apple Champs-Elysees is also where Apple marked its 40th year in France in 2021 by opening a special Apple Music radio studio.

"France occupies a special place in my heart," Tim Cook said at the time. "Every time I go there, I am inspired by this welcoming, dynamic and deeply creative community of artists and developers.
