June is shaping up to be sparse for new Apple Arcade offerings, like just about every other month in the year. That is, unless you're a preschooler who loves "Bluey" or "Talking Tom."
Starting in May and running through July, Bluey, the titular character of the Emmy-winning children's show that bears her name, is coming to Apple Arcade. But instead of bringing her own game to the service, Bluey is temporarily taking over five games that already exist on the service.
Starting on May 21, Bluey will make an appearance in:
- Crossy Road Castle, a multiplayer arcade platformer
- stitch., a casual digital cross-stitch puzzle
- puffies., a puffy-sticker jigsaw puzzle
- Suika Game+, a fall-and-merge style physics puzzle
- Disney Coloring World+, a mobile coloring book
These in-game events run through June 24 for stitch.; July 8 for puffies.; and July 21 for Crossy Road Castle, Suika Game+, and Disney Coloring World+.
Apple is launching four new titles to the service on June 4. However, unlike previous launch announcements, Apple doesn't include a lot of information about them.
This time around, Apple Arcade gains My Talking Tom 2+, yet another game for the preschool crowd. Kids meet Tom, a talking cat, and can teach him new skills, feed him snacks, clean him, and even take him to the bathroom.
Mini Football Legends offers an arcade-style soccer experience, allowing players to build, train, and manage their own teams. It features solo tournaments, local co-op, and multiplayer matches.
If you're a fan of business tycoon-style games, Coffee Inc 2+ seems like it might be the breakout game of the month. Players start as the founders of a local coffee shop and attempt to follow in the footsteps of global coffee corporations before them.
Lastly, FreeCell Solitaire: Card Game+ brings all the "fun" of FreeCell to Apple Arcade. In addition to the gameplay you know and love, it also features Apple Arcade exclusive travel souvenirs, daily challenges, and charming winning animations.
Apple Arcade is currently $6.99 per month and is included in the Apple One Individual, Family, and Premier bundles. Arcade Originals can be played across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, while App Store Greats can be played on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.
