Apple has provided the second public beta of watchOS 7.1 a day after releasing the second betas for iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2.
The public beta can be downloaded from Apple's Beta Software Program site. The beta content is likely to be the same as what was provided in the developer version three days prior.
The new watch faces introduced in watchOS 7 that were missing in beta 1 have returned for beta 2. The Apple Watch Series 6 was missing Blood Oxygen support in the first beta, and that has returned as well.
AppleInsider, and Apple itself, strongly suggest users avoid installing betas on to "mission-critical" or primary devices, due to the potential for data loss or other issues. It is instead recommended to install betas onto secondary or non-essential devices, and to ensure there are sufficient backups of important data beforehand.
