On this week's episode of the AppleInsider podcast, your hosts discuss iPhone 15 images, new features coming to iOS 16.4 include more Shortcuts actions, Apple's breakthroughs in noninvasive blood sugar testing, Apple building it's largest store yet, and it's time to ask — do Apple devices have a soul?
You wouldn't use Macs, iPhones and iPads if you didn't like them, but an AppleInsider podcast listener suggested that there is more to it than how these devices do a good job. The best Apple devices surely have a personality, but maybe — just maybe — they also have a soul.
Or at least if Apple devices do not have a soul, PCs certainly don't.
It's not all philosophy on this week's podcast — although host Stephen Robles and guest William Gallagher try speaking at both extra quickly and with enormous silences just to mess with anyone listening at more than 1x speed.
There's also the practical issue of exactly what we're all going to get in the forthcoming iOS 16.4. The beta version is out so we know — and some of it seems particularly welcome.
Plus you know what a USB-C port looks like, and you know what an iPhone looks like, but now we appear to have the first image of an iPhone 15 with the new charging port.
