Two days after India's third Apple Store opens, the country is to get its fourth, this time with Apple Koregaon Park, near Mumbai.
This new store continues Apple's reported plan to open four across in 2025. It follows the announcement of Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru's Phoenix Mall of Asia, which opens on September 2, 2025.
The opening dates for both stores are unusual, being a Tuesday and a Thursday. It's more common for Apple to open a new store on a Friday, ahead of a weekend which it packs with Today at Apple events.
Stores also tend to open either at what will be their regular time in the morning, or possibly a little earlier to host an opening event. In this case, both the new third and fourth stores are opening at 1 P.M. local time.
Even more unusually, the two stores are using the same redesigned Apple logo on their official sites.
"Namaskar, Pune," says Apple on the fourth store's official site, greeting the city in western India.
"The first Apple Store in the city opens its doors soon," it continues. "We can't wait to see your vibrant ideas come to life at Apple Koregaon Park."
Apple Koregaon Park is around 530 miles from the third store, Apple Hebbal. But it's just under 100 miles from Apple BKC in Mumbai, which in April 2023 was the first Apple Store to open in India.
Tim Cook and head of retail Deirdre O'Brien opened Apple BKC and then the second store, Apple Saket shortly afterwards. Apple never reveals sales figures, but local retail industry executives Apple Saket">later reported the two stores doubling the average electronics store revenue in the region.
