Yet more supposed case leaks have emerged for the iPhone 17, with the alleged Apple Clear Case being mostly transparent, except for the rear panel.

Apple is just over a week away from launching the iPhone 17, which means the rumor mill is set to go into overdrive. The first signs of that for 2025 is apparently case leaks, if one prolific leaker is to be believed.

The latest missive from leaker Majin Bu on Sunday consists of a post of new cases on their website. This time, they claim to show an iPhone 17 Pro "Clear Case" design.

The leak consists of renders and what seem to be photographs of the case with official-looking Apple packaging, identifying it as the iPhone 17 Pro Clear Case. There's also a shot of the cases being held in dummies of the iPhone 17 Pro models.

Bu's details about the cases include that there is a "partially transparent body," which is odd for something calling itself a "Clear Case." The outer bumper is transparent, as I the section around the wider camera bump, but the panel covering the lower half of the back of the iPhone is a frosted opaque white.

The only other marking on the back is the Apple logo, which follows previous rumors in being lower down the back than in previous model releases.

The opaque panel, while running counter to the idea of a "clear" case, does have the byproduct of hiding any MagSafe magnets embedded inside it. In many other clear cases from third-party producers, there is an obvious circle where the magnetic ring is located, but the large panel effectively eliminates this visible attribute.

Bu also reports the case has support for the Crossbody Strap, and may be available in seasonal tinted versions.

Majin By is one of the more prolific leakers, albeit one with a fairly questionable level of accuracy. Their recent leaks have been heavily case-related and have come under fire for inconsistencies, as well as questionable antics.

While it is plausible for Apple to be producing a clear case, as well as a TechWoven range, no-one outside of Apple will truly know until the company introduces its new models on September 9.
