Two nearly 20-year-old Sims spin-offs, "MySims" and "MySims Kingdom," are getting a fresh release on Apple Arcade in November.
This November, EA is bringing two beloved classic ports to Apple Arcade — a nostalgic duo perfect for cozy, pick-up-and-play sessions. Both titles are The Sims-inspired adventures: the charming build-and-decorate original MySims and its story-driven sequel, MySims Kingdom.
MySims is a spin-off of The Sims franchise that reimagines the life-simulation series. It features a simplified cartoon-like art style and equally simplified gameplay.
Rather than juggling Sims' needs and relationships, players focus on building, decorating, and helping townsfolk with creative projects. The game was initially released for the Nintendo Wii and PC in 2007, and re-released for the Nintendo Switch in 2024.
MySims Kingdom is a sequel to MySims that expands the world into a story-driven adventure. It was initially released for the DS and Wii in 2008, and again re-released for the Switch in 2024.
In MySims Kingdom, players are tasked with helping King Roland restore his kingdom by solving puzzles, rebuilding towns, and completing creative construction challenges.
Both games will be available on Apple Arcade starting on November 6, and are currently available on PC via the EA app, Epic Games Store, Steam, and also on the Nintendo eShop.
Apple Arcade is Apple's pay-once, play-all-you-want game subscription service. It costs $6.99 per month and is also available as part of all Apple One packages.
