It's the week of the annual CES, but not as we've known it before. Plus Apple Card is moving banks, and you really should not let ChatGPT into your Apple Health data, all on the AppleInsider Podcast.

Back in 1992, Apple's then CEO John Sculley announced the Newton at CES. Apple didn't come back again until 2020, and even then it wasn't exhibiting.

For more than three decades, then, the Consumer Electronics Show has thrived without Apple. And it's thrived with many companies making accessories for Apple.

This year, though, despite the usual wacky technology, CES seems to have finally lost its lustre. Yet there are highlights and maybe this year will be when the best of CES actually goes on sale.

If they do, more people may perhaps be able to buy them using an Apple Card. This week's been announced that JP Morgan is taking over from Goldman Sachs to run the Apple Card.

Nothing is changing for existing users. But internationally, people are now crossing fingers that they will finally be able to get an Apple Card, just seven years after it was launched in the US.
