Apple has revealed major changes to the iPad Pro lineup, with new models sporting an iPhone X-inspired design with near edge-to-edge displays, as well as the removal of the Home button in favor of using Face ID.
Apple released iOS 12 on Monday five days after its announcements of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. The new OS features better performance for older devices, Augmented Reality and ARKit 2, new life balance tools, and tweaks to Siri, Photos and Apple News.
The day after Apple unveiled three new, pricey iPhones and a new Apple Watch, the move even further towards the premium segment was a focus of several analyst reports, with them all saying that Apple's earnings will hit new heights both from increased sales volume, and a higher average selling price per device.
A slide from a presentation posted on social media suggests that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be called the "iPhone XC," and is casting aside discussions that the larger OLED iPhone will be called the "iPhone XS Max."
