Stars keep searching for missing Usher in new Apple Music video

Ludacris searching for Usher in the new Apple Music video

Now the search is on to find Usher before he's due to play the Super Bowl halftime show, in a new seven-minute skit on Apple Music.

Following a teaser video featuring Tim Cook being told that Usher is missing, Apple Music has released an extended video that ropes in countless stars for a search across Vegas.

"Where's Usher? Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show (Official Film)" centers on Ludacris, Lil Jon, Taraji P. Henson, Wesley Snipes, J Balvin, Anderson, Paak, Criss Angel — and, repeatedly, the Blue Man Group.

Set to Usher's music, occasionally as interpreted by the Blue Man Group, the team ultimately turn to actor Wesley Snipes. Insisting that he is Leslie Snipes, bounty hunter, he makes some attempt to help them find Usher — but his real starring turn comes in the final 10 seconds of the video.

The video is seven minutes long and covers "what happens (before the Halftime Show)." It will be followed on February 8, 2024, with Apple Music Radio's Nadeska Alexis interviewing Usher at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show press conference at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.

This interview and the halftime show itself will be available to watch live or streamed later across all of Apple Music's social media pages. There's also a dedicated site for the whole event.

Usher's performance — assuming he's found in time — will be Apple's second hosting of the Super Bowl half time show since it took over the slot from Pepsi. Its first halftime show starred Rihanna.
