The MacBook Air M2 with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage is available at Best Buy for the impressively low price of $799. It normally retails for $999, but has dipped to as low as $849 before plunging to the new record low of $799.

The M2 processor featured in this MacBook Air 13-inch model with an 8-core GPU is a solid performer. The M2 MacBook Air has up to 18 hours of battery life, dual Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, a built-in FaceTime HD camera, and Touch ID.

All four MacBook Air colors are $799; no coupon is needed for this deal.

While the newest MacBook Air features the M3 processor, the MacBook Air M2 is a solid performer, which we called "the best portable Mac you can buy running the M2 processor" when we reviewed it. The 8GB of RAM is a limitation, but at $799 it can be a streaming machine or general family computer used for checking out the latest headlines.

As of press time, all four colors are in stock and ready to ship at Best Buy. They can be picked up at many Best Buy stores and are available for next-day delivery in most zip codes. Same-day delivery is available in some areas, although there might be a fee for local delivery.

Best Buy has not indicated when this sale will end, and we suspect this is a limited-time offer until their inventory runs out.
