Once the worst-kept secret in television, Apple TV is teasing the return of "Ted Lasso" for a fourth season in the summer of 2026, with a reveal of new photos from the production.
"Ted Lasso" is the show that made Apple TV a hit, and from the moment it completed its "final" season, there was demand for more. Apple CEO Tim Cook was among those calling for it, and finally in 2025, star/co-creator Jason Sudeikis confirmed its return.
Now Apple TV has announced an approximate air date for the new season, a window, with it committing to a summer 2026 release. While there is as yet no more precise date, Apple also shared new images from the production.
Season four is said to see coach Ted (Sudeikis) returning to Richmond to coach a second division women's football team. The new images show him joined by an assistant coach, played by Tanya Reynolds.
Ted's son Henry is also featured in one shot, with Grant Feely taking over the role. Feely and Sudeikis are pictured in the Crown & Anchor pub with Annette Badland.
Also confirmed to be returning are original cast members Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, and Brett Goldstein. New actors joining the show include Faye Marsey from "Game of Thrones" and "Andor."
Brett Goldstein also continues as a writer and executive producer. He's joined as writers and producers by Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh.
Jack Burditt, most recently known for "Nobody Wants This," is a new executive producer. The role is part of an overall package deal Burditt has recently signed with Apple TV.
"Ted Lasso" season four is currently in production, having started filming in London back in summer 2025.
