Apple's "Awe Dropping" event will doubtlessly center on the iPhone 17 — but there's also going to be new Apple Watches, and maybe also AirPods Pro 3. All this and more, on the latest episode of the AppleInsider Podcast.

We're so close the iPhone 17 launch now that leakers are trying to get in their last predictions, or guesses, or indeed actual inside information. They're doing it about the iPhone, of course, but also cases and strap and accessories.

What they don't seem to doing, at least not yet, is reporting in any detail on what the new Apple Watch Series 11 will be like. Nor on any of the other possible products.

Between now and September 9, 2025, though, there will be rumors of everything from Apple Vision Pro to iPad Pro being launched alongside the iPhone 17. Those rumors will just be wrong, and then followed on September 10 by claims that Apple changed its mind.

Here's what we know is coming, what we can reasonably expect, and also what we can hope for.

Plus this week we learned that the Camera Control will live on after all. We learned that rumors of reverse wireless charging will not die — and why they should.

BONUS: Subscribe via Patreon or Apple Podcasts to hear AppleInsider+, the extended edition. This time, we know Apple will be launching iPhones at its "Awe Dropping" event, but it's certain there will be more. Maybe that will just be the Apple Watch, but we figure the odds on AirPods Pro 3, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 — or at least discuss what we'd like those to feature.
